What a month it has been! Exactly one month after arriving here in South America, the sun is now setting on My Crowdfunding Study (My CFS).
In the last month there has been a little bit of everything – ups, downs, and everything in between. It has been an adventure in the purest form, and I tried my best to live in the moment and soak up every minute of it.
To go through two different countries that speak two completely different languages was an adventure in and of itself. To throw a crowdfunding study into the mix made it even that much more fun.
During the trip, I learned a lot; about each country, about crowdfunding and about myself. I feel like I had a chance to see two countries bursting with creativity from a unique angle, and it was great to be able to talk to people without any specific agenda or alterior motive. To me, the whole trip felt very raw and unobstructed, and for that I am very thankful.
What brought me down here in the first place?
To put it simply, curiosity. Curiousity about crowdfunding, and curiousity about the inherent creativity in both Argentina and Brazil. After a month on the road, I feel like I have now scratched that itch and am ready to think about the next step.
What will that next step be?
I have no idea! I am headed back down to the coast of Brazil to think about this for a couple of weeks and start to try and process what happened over the last month. Although I don’t know what’s coming next, I am very thankful that things worked out and that I was able to pull this off. I am very grateful for all the people who supported me on my journey, and to all the people along the journey who were there for me when I needed them.
While this is the end of the official ‘study’ part of my trip, I am sure there will be at least a couple of more posts to come.
